To Nerf or not to Nerf

This was one of the first X7 series guns I made based on a Nerf Stampede. Lots of LED's and uses an upgraded 12v SLA battery mounted in the stock. The sight on the top is a 4 x magnification assault style sight and it is fitted with a green dot laser on the side rail. This gun is a bit heavier due to the larger battery however non of the springs or internals have been modified so it still fires daily poorly.
I have always loved the shape of this nerd Gun and adding a few extra bits makes it look even better.

This is a variation on the pulse riffle from the film'Aliens'. It has been built from a Nerf Stampede with a fair few mods added made mainly from wood and plastic. it uses the same counter/volt meter, system as the gun above but this one to keep weight down runs the standard stock battery, hence slightly less LED's. It is fitted with a top rail mounted red dot laser sight.

This is a play on the P90 weapon form the TV series Stargate. It is based on a very cheap Chinese P90 Airsoft gun which has about as much power as a low powered Nerf gun, intact the Nerf gun probably has more power. Anyway, it is not about the guns performance it is about the look. A few extras were added, the barrel and the Holo sight on top made out of some old bits of metal. The bullets in the mag are painted pen lids which look the part. It is fitted with a torch and red dot laser to finish the look. It has been painted black all over and given a weather look.
